Well, we thought the heat was gone, but apparently it's here to stay for a bit longer. But never fear! Even though we're getting TONS of gorgeous fall pieces in every day, we couldn't resist giving you a final taste of sexy summer. Yes, we guess a calculus book or a pencil scream school, but we mean clothing-wise... and our consensus was definitely one of these sweet, but not twee cardigans from French Connection and Costa Blanca.

Pardon our pun, but we can't help but think it's anything but natural to be completely enamored with these adorable little wallets we just received. Hemline Girl's Pick of the Week

Hemline's hippie in residence, Gabby, is officially back from South America, and we were so excited to ask her what fabulous item she would pick as Hemline's pick of the week. Alas, here is her selection! She's loving this Judith March number for several reasons:

1. It's seriously one-sleeved. That sleeve is no ordinary sleeve, it's a full-on bell bottom sleeve. If you're going for drama, or wanting to expose your new shoulder sleeve tattoo, this dress is it.

2. It's seriously floral. The mixture of teal, blue, turquiose, and a beautiful brown make this dress oh-so warm and cozy. Perfect for fall and spring, it's going to become a go-to piece for days when nothing else seems to work.

3. It's seriously soft. No, we really mean it. Whatever this dress is made out of (it's polyester, but don't let that scare you), it's amaaaaazing. So soft. We would wear this littl enumber to bed if we weren't so busy wearing it all day.

This Just In: Chinese Laundry

Well, obviously us ladies here at Hemline LOVE us some shoes. It seems the easiest item to gush and gush over. In fact, just the other day, our boyfriend was asking us just why we found shoes so enthralling (as if it wasn't obvious enough). And the simple answer is this: you can wear shoes forever. It doesn't matter if you gain 40 pounds or lose 25. Your shoes still fit. AND, if you're careful about your shoe collection, as all of us here at Hemline are, your shoes will never go out of style.

Which, is why we're so excited to present to you the Chinese Laundry Wicked Bootie! Perfect for fall and winter, this bootie is going to look extra cute with tights and socks paired with a short little skirt. Oh- la- la!

It is hot, hot, hot, so why not try to stay cool on ladies' night out in one of these knockouts currently residing on our racks??? They're sexy, subtle, and oh-so winningly white.

1. Alexia Admor: This simple strapless number is perfect for a conservative affair that mandates less flair and more class. However, don't think of this dress as a Debbie-downer! Throw on some wild shoes and jewels to make this number a total knockout!

This event is going to be even hotter than our last (and we mean that both literally and figuratively). It's going to be suh-weet! So make sure you clear your calendars for August 26 so that you can dance your booty off to all Travie's sweet melodies.
