Just try and not head out to hang out pool side, at a barbecue, or in the park as soon as you slip any of these pretty, pink little diddies. All of them are ultra lightweight and offer just the perfect amount of dazzle to make your ensemeble interesting. Each would look perfect paired with a cute pair of jeans

Far left: This brand-spankin'-new pink Karlie tee is quickly becoming a Hemline favorite! We're totally diggin' the circle sequin cut-outs on the shoulder and the gypsy sleeves. The sequins keep this little top from becoming frumpy and transform it to pure sassy class!

Center left: This Daniel Rainn blouse is perfect for picnics on the Nelson-Atkins lawn... or your backyard. The light and airy material ensures a cool day basking in the sun and the loose fit means you can eat as many ice cream cones and no one will know!

Center right: Judith March is a new brand to the Hemline family and we're so happy she's here! This three-tiered top can either be paired with skinny jeans, or if you're daring enough, nothing but a super cute pair of sandals! The easy shape of the garment makes it easy to dress up for a daytime wedding or dress down for a day of shopping on the Plaza!

Far right: And last but certainly not least, we have another adorable number from Karlie. This one shoulder, beaded top is sure to become a go-to top in every girl's closet this summer. Complete with a delicate yellow paisly print, this top is definitely a head-turner!

Coming Soon to Hemline!

Hemline is so pleased to announce that we will soon be carrying Acholi Beads in our store. We wanted to give you a little teaser, so  read ahead to learn more about this awe-inspiring company.

This is not a charity. This is business done right.

This is recycled materials and fair trade partners. Instead of flashy marketing, Acholi Beads abides in the true story of Ugandan women and their beautiful creations; their decades of fear and their newfound hope. This business is committed to the long-term success of our partners, working jointly to build a foundation for independence and the tools to thrive.
The women we partner with fled a brutal civil war in the north of Uganda. Everyone in their Acholi tribe lost someone. They ended up in a hillside slum just outside of Uganda’s capital, where the only way they could feed their families and the orphans they cared for was working in a dangerous rock quarry, crushing rocks for $1 per day – the international standard for Extreme Poverty.
Now these women earn a professional wage making Acholi Beads. They handcraft each bead from a piece of recycled paper, and creatively string them together into the beautiful pieces you will find on this site. They work from the comfort of their homes, or together in common areas, and have started their own legal cooperative to manage their successful jewelry business. We are proud to partner our business with theirs.
And we don’t stop there. Acholi Beads provides training for woman we partner with on how to manage their personal finances for long-term success, including budgeting, savings, entrepreneurship, and microfinance training. Our goal for our partners is independent success, with or without Acholi Beads, for the rest of their and their families’ lives.
Business is the most powerful force for economic development the world has ever known, and we’re focusing that power for the benefit of those who need it most. We call it Socially Proactive Business, a business whose success is inextricably linked to making the world a better place. This is the New Luxury.

Quietly Quintessential

Sometimes fashion is all about stealing the spotlight and making a BIG, loud statement. Other times, it's about quiet sophistication, which is why we're obsessed with our new line, Fluxus.

Fluxus is the perfect combination of romantic and simplistic. With its gauzy, lightweight fabric, these pieces are great by themselves or lovingly layered with other pieces. The muted tones also make them ultra-versatile and easy to pair with a sexy spectrum of colors!

Dress up with a pair of black stilettos, patent leather belt and funky jewelry for an offbeat evening look or with a pair of skinny jeans and flats for an easy afternoon style.

Need more inspiration? Just stop by Hemline on the Plaza and ask the lovely ladies who there what they think!
