Spotlight On: Maxi Skirts

We all know about the maxi dress. It's long, flow-y, ever so comfy, and can be worn for pretty much any occasion. But do you know about the maxi skirt? This new twist on the maxi trend can be a hard one to know what to do with. I mean when you have the entire dress, there is no guessing what to put with it - you're covered. But when faced with these sweet little skirts, there's more room for question.

It's all too simple though, really! Each of the skirts we pulled off of our sales floor can be worn with a simple little tank top. Let the skirt shine! Don't get too fussy on top. You can tuck your top in, tie a knot at the hip, or buy a cropped version and wear it out and loose. What shoes you ask? For Summer we like a simple sandal in a neutral or metallic, or even a muted animal print. Are the skirts too long for you? Try it with a clog or an espadrille. And a few of these babies can be worn in the Fall and Winter months with a pretty sweater and a pair of riding boots!
