Who Says Glamour Can't Be Green???

(Mat and Nat white bag, TOMS Seaport Vegan Classics, Hippie Ink t-shirt)
Certainly not us here at Hemline!

Hemline has long been committed to reducing our carbon footprint; we recycle, we encourage our customers to purchase green bags (more on that tomorrow), and we even sell sustainable clothing and accessories! In celebration of Earth Week, we are bringing you some of our favorite eco-friendly pieces from our store!

MATT & NAT’s 21 water bottle initiative has further stepped up their commitment to social responsibility and to the environment; all linings are made from recycled plastic water bottles. A message inside of each bag will let you know exactly how many bottles were recycled to produce your accessory.

TOMS The livity texture twill upper material is made of hemp and recycled plastic bottles. This pair of shoes is vegan friendly and uses no animal products, but instead is made with recycled and sustainable materials.

HIPPIE INK
Made from 100% organic cotton, this combed, ring-spun cotton produces a softer and higher quality garment. Made in the U.S.A.

STACIA The Stacia Eco Knits Collection uses yarns made from bamboo, soybean, and seaweed-- sustainable fibers that are friendly to the earth and feel good against your skin.

You see, maybe it is easy being green.  It wouldn't be the first time Kermit had it wrong. So stop by Hemline before Earth Week is over and doing something good for the environment... and yourself!
