Holiday Traditions

We gathered with family and friends to give thanks. We stuffed ourselves (no pun intended) with all the Thanksgiving trimmings. We shopped at ridiculous hours to get the best deals. Now it's time to reflect on what the holidays are really about! Now that a lot of us here at Hemline are moms, we are thinking about traditions. What do we want to start with our children that they will want to continue on with their families? I remember being a little girl and waking up to the cookies and milk that we baked the night before being gone, presents galore under the tree, and "reindeer droppings" -  aka cocoa puffs - on the floor. My dad was a little out of control! Jenn and her kids wear new Christmas pajamas on Christmas Eve as they open one gift. The next day they get a new ornament to remember that Christmas by. When they are grown, those ornaments will each bring back a special memory. Those are the memories we will never forget, and they ones we will continue to do with our kids.
So what are your traditions? We want to know! And if your tradition strikes us as one we want to start with our families, we want to give you a $100.00 gift card to Hemline! Email your traditions to anniehemlinekc@gmail.com before December 12, and stay tuned on December 13 to see our winner! We can't wait to hear from you!
