With all the buzz surrounding the Royal wedding right now, we can't help but notice the infatuation our friends across the pond have with hats. Now don't get us wrong, we think the duds they adorn on their heads are an amazing work of art, but over here, we might get a few looks for copying the style!
So to curb our craving for accessories on our domes, we've put together four different looks that you can wear in the good ole' United States - we promise they will bring the good kind of stares!

First we channeled our inner Steven Tyler. The feathers he wears while judging on American Idol are right up our alley! Very Boho, and when worn with an easy maxi or your favorite bell bottoms, the are the perfect adornment for your hair.
They come two different ways. There is an extension version that is put in by a professional, and lasts up to two months. You can curl, straighten, wash and blow dry them, and they leave no damage behind when they come out.
The other option is the clip in feather. This is the no commitment way to get the look! Just clip it in wherever you like it best, and take it out at the end of the day! The best thing about the clip in version is that you can use it over and over again, whereas the extension version is done after it's taken out.

Next we have the turban. While this look was once sported by grannies in housecoats, it is making a trendy comeback - and we are smitten! You can buy one already wrapped, or you can do it yourself with a silk scarf. Gather all the fabric together to make one long piece. While holding onto the ends, place the middle of the fabric at the base of your head. Pull the ends forward and cross them at your forehead. Cross them once more to make a "knot" at the front, and bring the ends around to the base of your head. Tie the ends together and tuck them in. Voila!

Next we have head pieces. Taking a queue from the women in India, this beautiful look is making a splash in fashion. We love this one by House of Harlow 1960. Wear it with a flow y maxi dress for a bohemian look, or dress up a cocktail dress in a new way. Either way, we are obsessed!

Our last look is tried and true, and the closest we can get in the states to the hat craze over seas! We know hats, big and small, have been around. But there is a reason. They are such an easy way to add a little something extra to your look. Plus - they cover up bed head, and the super wide brimmed hats help shield your face from the suns rays. Who can argue with that?

Have fun trying out these looks - we know we did.
