And we aren't talking about our stores! The new hemline for Spring and Summer is a little more lengthy this year, and we absolutely love it! We know how many people loved the maxi dress a few years ago - us included - for it's comfort and effortlessly pretty lines. This year they are back in full force, but with a few new twists that we adore. The following dresses are all by one of our favorite lines, Free People!
Unlike the maxi dress from before, this new style doesn't quite skim the floor. Or even the ankles for that matter. The tea length dress is so ladylike. But Free People puts a spin on tea length that makes them just plain cool! Wear them with a chunky wedge, your favorite heel, or a pretty sandal. Heck you can even wear them with a combat boot! We particularly like the vintage look and feel of these three styles.
Obviously next we have the floor sweeping maxi - even if it's just in the back! While the tried and true original floor length maxi is still on our list of favorites this summer, we love the look of a short front and sweeping back. It allows you to show off your shoes of course!
