Designer Spotlight: Corey Lynn Calter

One of our favorite, tried and true designers at Hemline is Corey Lynn Calter.

"Corey Lynn Calter developed her unique aesthetic while involved in subcultures as divergent as the New York punk scene to the San Francisco Opera. Her eponymous label, which launched in 2000, features original prints, flattering cuts, and brilliant twists on classic silhouettes." - coreylynncalter.com

We love her for all the things mentioned above, and more. Her prints are so pretty, but funky at the same time. Her cuts are ultra flattering, and she does a great job mixing feminine with a little bit of grunge here and there. Another reason to love her? The prices! While they aren't as low as some other labels we carry in our stores, she does a great job at making one of a kind pieces at a "doable" price. The construction of her clothing will last forever, and the fit is spot on. You can't ask for much more than that!
Oh - and the amazing necklaces shown with her pieces? The far left with the white top is Yochi, it's $66.00. The one with the orange dress (which by the way can be worn 3 totally different ways!) is by Zad, and it's only$30.00!
